Description:
Java J2EE Developer needed For this software product company in Fairfax, VA. For over 20 years, this software product company has successfully provided the debt recovery industry with best-of-breed technology solutions to help increase profits from collections. The JAVA J2EE Developers will develop and maintain the new generation products. Focus is on mid-tier business logic.
The Java J2EE Developer will have understanding of UML design artifacts. The Java J2EE Developer will also be able to implement clean, well-documented code in accordance with project guidelines and standards such as:
- Design and conduct tests
- Contribute to team meetings
- Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
Skills /Qualifications:
- 3+ years hands-on Java programming
- Experience building enterprise J2EE applications as well as knowledge of J2EE libraries and concepts
- Previous experience or knowledge of Spring, Hibernate, and Web Services is a big plus
- Ability to handle projects with minimal supervision as well as work in a team
environment.
- Excellent communication skills a must
- Strong code testing and debugging skills
- Familiar with Software Requirements and Software Development Documentation
- Strong personal and team work ethic
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- UI Design experience is a big plus
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Related Technology Field or
equivalent experience
