Description:
A growing electronics company in Irvine is seeking a senior embedded developer who has hands on experience with assembly programming and various microchips/microcontrollers.
The qualified candidate will have the following skillset:
5+ years of experience with embedded software development and low level programming with c, c++ and assembly language
Low level microchip experience with various microcontrollers such as Atmel, Intel, Motorola, etc.
Experience optimizing code foot print and power management is a must
Experience working on a small team, and interacting with hardware and schematics
Any experience with low power RF, wireless systems, or power management is a big plus.
Bringing up bootloaders, designing and developing a system that works on a real-time platform
The ideal candidate will have atleast 10 years of experience with c, c++, and assembly. In addition they will enjoy getting their hands dirty and physically testing products that they develop.
In addition we are looking for self starters who can carry out tasks end to end, and do not require a lot of supervision.
