Description:
We are seeking a technology director to manage all application development and infrastructure for our client. This client is an international brokerage firm with over 70 years of industry experience. This director should come from an application development background and has grown to also oversee infrastructure and engineering in their career.
The current technical environment incorporates today’s most cutting edge technology products. Application development is done in Microsoft .NET with C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET and SQL server. The infrastructure environment is Microsoft 2003 server with Exchange, Active Directory and Cisco.
This company has a focused practice for this industry. As the director you must be very comfortable having a hands-on approach to technology. The director will be involved in technical design, architecture and implementation of all current and new applications and systems. You will have 7 direct reports with the opportunity for continued growth. Core projects center around internet, intranet and web based application. Heavy project management and communication with corporate executives and various business units will be a must.
In addition to having the technical experience and management knowledge; a strong job history is required. Candidate with a degree in computer science or business administration is ideal.
